ROCK HALL — Superintendent Dr. Mary Boswell-McComas presented a proposed budget for the upcoming year to the Kent County Board of Education on Monday, April 14.

The Board will hold a public hearing on the budget at 6 p.m. Monday, April 28.

Dr. McComas will hold a virtual town hall on the budget at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1to talk about the budget and answer questions from the community and our stakeholders.

The Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 5 and expects to vote on the budget at that time.

All three meetings will be at the Kent County Public Schools Administrative Building, 5608 Boundary Ave., Rock Hall. We will share the streaming and virtual links before those meetings.

In addition, Dr. McComas will meet with faculty and staff in each school next month to discuss the budget.
