Kent County Public Schools is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, recognizing the important role our educators play in children's lives. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10, with Tuesday, May 7 being recognized as National Teacher Day.

"During Teacher Appreciation Week, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers who dedicate themselves to shaping minds and nurturing spirits," said Dr. Karen Couch, superintendent of Kent County Public Schools. "Your unwavering commitment, passion and creativity empower students to reach their full potential and inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are deeply thankful for the impact you make every day. Thank you for being champions of education and for shaping the future with your wisdom and guidance."

Student Services: Committed to enhancing student achievement

Kent County Public Schools is committed to ensuring that all students learn in a safe and nurturing environment and that all policies are enforced in a fair and consistent manner. 

Therefore, this Code of Conduct serves as guidelines that support behavioral and disciplinary policies. All students are expected to be aware of and abide by this Student Code of Conduct. 

Parents are asked to read the Student Code of Conduct carefully and discuss the information herein with their children.
